JA Biztown and JA Finance Park Student Fee Subsidies and Adopt-A-School Programs
More and more frequently, schools are discontinuing their participation in Junior Achievement’s premiere capstone programs because they can no longer justify the $15 per student fee in light of shrinking budgets. Designate a specific school, or allow Junior Achievement to allocate your funds where they are most needed.
JA Innovation Hub
The latest high-tech addition to Junior Achievement’s JA World experiential learning center, The Innovation Hub will introduce students to career opportunities and associated educational requirements in the science, technology, engineering and math industries.
JA Entrepreneurship Essentials
After school program aimed at motivating students to stay in school and pursue post-secondary education by offering college mentors and interactions with successful educated entrepreneurs around a series of Junior Achievement programs. Students receive ongoing incentives to complete Certification Blocks, ultimately leading to college scholarships and/or business start-up funding.
Foster Care, Incarcerated, Treatment Center and other Adjudicated Youth Outreach
Junior Achievement programs play a vital role in decreasing the recidivism rate of juvenile offenders and in providing practical tools for young people aging out of foster care. Programs presented in conjunction with the Department of Services for Children, Youth and their Families.
Summer Camp Sponsorships
Junior Achievement of Delaware collaborates with numerous community centers and other summer camp providers to offer JA World experiences to their campers. JA Biztown and JA Finance Park simulations are offered at $1,000 per day for up to 66 campers. Most community centers and other camp providers require assistance with this fee. Your sponsorship can remove obstacles to hundreds of low income youth.
JA Special Events
Special Events serve as fund raisers and as friend raisers for Junior Achievement, and individual participation and company sponsorship help make them successful in all respects.
