JA World
The Junior Achievement of Delaware offices have been transformed into a 13,000 square foot mini-town, the most exciting experiential learning center in our area. Classroom teachers use real life applications to teach economic concepts before the students spend time in JA World. This program combines in-class learning with a day-long visit to this fully interactive simulated town facility to help students connect the dots between what they learn in school and the real world. JA Finance Park
A place where middle and high school aged students take on future life scenarios and make associated financial decisions. Kids will learn to balance a personal budget while funding their housing, transportation, entertainment and other living expenses. Click here to download a Finance Park Program Request Form.
In order to make the program as realistic as possible, spaces have been created for local companies to rent and thus lend their name, products and materials to the project. This is a great opportunity for the business community to support a program that will have a great return on their investment for the entire area for years to come.
